THE PROBLEM

Rural communities often face unique challenges, and thanks to your support, we’re addressing them head-on:

  • 5.8 million rural Americans struggle with poverty (12.7% rural poverty rate vs. national average of 11.1%).

  • 3 million rural households experience food insecurity, almost 15% of the rural population.

  • 14% of rural children live in poverty, highlighting an urgent need for basic resources and educational support.

  • Income disparity between rural and urban areas has widened by 40% in recent decades.
